About PTA-ISH

The objectives of the PTA-ISH are:
  • To support the interest of the students and their parents or guardians;
  • To promote contact between parents, students, teachers and School Management.

The PTA-ISH is committed to meet these objectives by:

  • Advising the parent's representation of the DMR of the ISH;
  • Providing and/or funding facilities or items at the request of the School Management and/or parents/guardians which are deemed necessary but cannot be provided for by the school budget;
  • Maintaining (informal) contacts with the School Management to exchange ideas and wishes both from the School Management, parents and students;
  • Organizing informal meetings i.e. social events for parents, students, teachers and School Management.

Objectives and operating procedures of the PTA-ISH were confirmed in the Charter of 12 November 2002. This was under the previous name, PTA-ISH.
In Summer 2009, the PTA-ISH became a registered 'vereniging' and changed the name from PSSG (Parents Students Support Group) to the more common sounding PTA-ISH.
